Tree Planter:  The Adams County SWCD has a tree-planting machine available for rent.  A flat rental charge of $30.00 will be assessed to each renter to cover maintenance expenses.  If you are interested in renting the tree planter, please call 217/224-9305, Ext. 3.

Tye Pasture Pleaser Drill:  We also have a 7.5 foot no-till drill with boxes for native grasses.  This is ideal for seeding filter strips and wildlife food plots.   For grass seedings, a flat rental rate of $ 50.00 will be assessed to each renter to cover maintenance expenses.  The charge for oilseed or grain crops will be $ 10.00 per acre.  Call 217/224-9305, Ext. 3 for more information.

The Adams County Soil and Water Conservation District is a legal subdivision of the State of Illinois, responsible for the conservation and wise use of our natural resources.  The District is governed by a five person elected Board of Directors.  The Adams County SWCD Board of Directors meet on the fourth Monday of every month at the District office, 338 South 36th Street in Quincy.  Meetings are at 6:30 AM.
