To properly dispose of yard refuse City of Quincy compost site (owned & operated by Evans Recycling) is located at 711 West Radio Road. The site is open from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, seven days a week. To recycle in Quincy The City of Quincy offers curb pick-up of recyclables. Materials accepted are newspapers and magazines, steel or tin cans (rinsed and preferably flattened), corrugated cardboard (flattened), plastics (with 1 or 2 on bottom of container), and aluminum (clean).
